CPR

This 2 hour course is the entry level of first aid and covers CPR, Choking and how put some-one into the recovery position.

A.E.D.

To ensure the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This course is 6 hours in length and the certificate must be re-newed annually.

Emergency First Aid

This is a basic 4 hour course which gives the first aider the confidence to deal with most emergency situations until the arrival of the emergency services.

Anaphylaxis Awareness

To be able to recognise and assist the casualty who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction to a substance. This training includes epi-pen and ana-pen training.

Baby and Child

A popular course for those working in childcare or for families who wish to learn how to recognise and treat conditions that their child may encounter.

Moving and Handling

This course can be broken down into 3 modules:

Moving and handling principles
Moving and handling of patients in a care setting
Moving and handling of casualties in an emergency setting

All techniques are taught to 'The Handling of People' 5th Edition standard.
